The New Adventures of Kimba the White Lion
Jungle Tatei

When hunters attack Caesar's animal kingdom in search of spoils, he is killed defending his mate Eliza. Promising to name their unborn son Kimba, she gives birth to him on a ship destined for a zoo. On their journey Kimba learns of his father's legend and is encouraged to escape when the ship suffers damage during a tropical storm. When he reaches land, Kimba finds himself far from his father's kingdom but soon makes some unlikely friends on his way back home.
