In 2001, the notorious Geister space pirates have landed on Earth looking for new treasure to steal. In pursuit are the space police led by Exkaiser, who have fused themselves into vehicles upon arriving in Japan. Third grader Kota Hoshikawa is astonished when his father's car suddenly transforms into Exkaiser and reveals to him the threat the Earth faces. The unlikely soon duo form a bond and begin working together to foil Geister's ambitions to seize the Earth's artifacts.
