Karin is a first-year junior high school student who, while running late one morning, discovers a yellow piglet by the side of the road. To her amazement, this piglet is actually Prince Tonrariano III from the planet Booringo, who explains that he has come to Earth for training. She finds out that not only can this piglet talk, but he can also grant her the ability to transform into a superpowered pink piglet named Tonde Burin. Although Karin understandably declines this 'gift', she eventually agrees when he promises that for every good deed she completes, she will earn a pearl, and once she collects 108 pearls, she can transform into her desired form.
