Ten years ago, the Holy Knights framed a band of legendary warriors in plotting a coup against the Liones Kingdom. These warriors have since scattered to the four winds and are now known as the Seven Deadly Sins, the most wanted criminals in the land. One day a young woman named Elizabeth arrives at the Boar Hat tavern in search of the Deadly Sins. When she is revealed to be the third Princess of Liones, the seemingly young boy running the place introduces himself as Meliodas, their leader. Deciding to join Elizabeth in her quest, Meliodas sets out to find the other Deadly Sins.
