More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers

Jiro Yakuin is a high school student who feels unfulfilled in life. He teams up with Hoshi Watanabe, who is in a completely different situation, for a class called Couple Practice — a tradition at Aoshun Academy. Jiro struggles with girls, unlike Hoshi, and is disappointed that he can't partner with his first love, Shiori Sakurazaka. Hoshi proposes that they team up so he can get closer to his crush, Minami Tenjin. To earn the right to switch partners, which is given to the top students, they start living as a pseudo couple. At first, Jiro and Hoshi participate in various activities, including their first kiss, to earn points. However, as they get to know each other's personalities and thoughts through their daily interactions, they unexpectedly grow closer and, against their initial intentions, develop feelings for one another.
