On her 17th birthday, apprentice witch Meg Raspberry learns from her mentor, the "Eternal Witch" Faust, that she is under a curse that will last for a year. To break free from this curse, she must collect a thousand tears of joy from others to create a "Seed of Life." Throughout her journey to gather these tears, Meg engages with various individuals, experiencing both heartfelt encounters and bittersweet farewells, all while growing and evolving as a witch.
