The Classroom of a Black Cat and a Witch
Kuroneko to Majo no Kyoushitsu

Spica Virgo is a clumsy witch apprentice who struggles with magic. She idolizes Claude Sirius, a famous wizard, and dreams of passing the entrance exam for the Royal Diana Academy. To succeed, she needs a mentor, but Spica lacks both money and connections. One day, she meets a talking black cat with incredible magic abilities and asks for help to get into the academy. The cat reveals that it was once human but was cursed into its current form. To her surprise, the cat turns out to be Claude, and they form a master-disciple partnership. He promises to help her succeed in the entrance exam in exchange for finding the Rebirth Magic to restore his human form.
