Ordinary high school student Hibiki Manabe is suddenly transported by a blinding flash of light to a vast grassland in another world filled with lurking monsters. As he wanders through this unfamiliar fantasy realm, he discovers he has gained the skill "Appraisal" and the provisional occupation of Appraiser.

With the help of the beautiful elf Emalia, whom he meets on the grassland, Hibiki embarks on an adventure. Alongside the cursed beastman Claude, the future powerful sage Lilian, and the white cat sacred beast Vene, he seeks a way to return to his original world while steadily growing stronger.
