One day, the extraordinary superhuman known as Birdman appeared before Mitsuo Suwa, presenting him with a mask, a cape, and a badge. By donning this unique ensemble, Mitsuo gains the powers of a fledgling "Perman." He then unites with others who have also received masks and capes from these remarkable beings to form the Perman Team. Together, they harness their superhuman abilities to combat villains and address emergencies and disasters. During their missions, Mitsuo has the capability to leave behind a robot duplicate that resembles him perfectly as a decoy. However, it is crucial that his true identity remains a secret; if it were to be uncovered, his memories would be wiped clean, and he would be transformed into an animal to safeguard this vital information. Thus, the adventures of the four Permen begins.
