Tongari Boushi no Memoru

Nestled in the beautiful mountains of Central Europe lies the village of Beren. On a little island in the heart of Beren’s lake lies Lilu Village, the smallest village in the world. This hidden place is home to the Lilu people, who arrived on Earth after a spaceship crashed. Standing at just about 10 centimeters tall, the Lilu people are easily recognized by their distinct pointed hats.

Among them is Memoru, a spirited and playful girl full of energy. With dreams of one day returning to her home planet of Lilu, she spends her days playing with her friends, Popit, Rupang, and Pi. One fateful day, while trying to rescue a little bird from an eagle, Memoru finds herself on the opposite shore of the lake, where she spots a girl who resembles them, albeit many times larger, playing a beautiful melody on the piano.

This girl is Mariel, the first Earthling Memoru and her friends encounter. Mariel is a gentle soul, feeling unwell and lonely as she visits the mountain lodge in Beren to recover. During their time together, Memoru forms a special friendship with Mariel and shares a meaningful message that will surely brighten her spirits.
