Hayami Persia, a wild child raised in Africa, visited Japan at 11 to meet her parents. On her flight, she entered the magical world of Lovely Dream, where a fairy asked her to gather love energy to save it and granted her magic to do so. Persia was joined by Simba, a lion who turns into a cat, the kappa trio (Geragera, Puripuri, Mesomeso), and the fairy Bonbon.
Though innocent, she discovered the tragic love story of Princess Fairy and Kenji Sawaki, which helped her grow emotionally. Initially, she liked twin friends Manabu and Chikara, but after seeing an intimate moment between Yoyoko and Manabu, she realized her feelings for him.
When Lovely Dream's crisis eased, it was decided that Manabu and Chikara would travel to Africa. In the midst of it all, Persia learned that Manabu liked her too, and she decided to embrace life without relying on magic.
