Magical Emi, the Magic Star Mahou no Star Magical Emi
Mai Kazuki is a fifth-grade elementary school girl with aspirations of becoming a magician. She assists her grandfather's magic troupe, "Magic Carat," and possesses a basic understanding of magic; however, her inherent clumsiness hinders her progress in becoming a magician.
During a relocation to Kotemari Heights, Mai unexpectedly encounters Topo, the fairy of the mirror, who bestows upon her magical abilities that can grant wishes. With the aid of a magical bracelet, she transforms into the brilliant magician "Magical Emi" and takes the stage at a performance for Magic Carat, where chaos has erupted. Captivating the audience with her newfound magic, she successfully salvages the show. Coincidentally, a television producer who is present during this performance spots Emi and decides to feature her on television, thus beginning her career as an idol. Consequently, an extraordinary and hectic life unfolds for this ordinary elementary school student as she embraces her new identity as the idol "Magical Emi.
