A boy is born to the Natsuki couple, champions of the Kendo Iwate Prefectural Tournament. His arrival on June 3rd at 4 p.m. leads them to name him Musashi. Inspired by his parents' passion, Musashi embarks on his kendo journey at the tender age of three. As he enters the first grade of elementary school, tragedy strikes when his father, Eiichiro, triumphs in a kendo tournament but suffers a fatal injury during a match against his rival, Kunihiko Todo. Though Musashi initially holds a grudge against Todo, he finds strength in his rivalry with Shura Todo, Kunihiko's son. Together, they encourage one another and grow through the art of kendo, turning their challenges into opportunities for greatness.
