Obake no Q-Taro

This gag comedy focuses on the misadventures of the ghostly Q-Taro and his friend Shouta in the human world. Although Q-Taro is an Obake, he is somewhat unusual because he cannot transform and has a crippling fear of dogs. Shouta, an elementary school student, faces his own challenges, as his grades are so low that he is nearly at the bottom of his class. Much of the humor in their daily adventures arises from Q-Taro's lack of understanding of the peculiarities of Japanese society.
