In the Small town of Yagihongi, a giant Buddha suddenly awakened, and came into contact with Suzuki, who secretly wants to be famous. Suzuki travels to the Oni Dimension and takes control of several of its denizens to fuel his own selfish ambitions. At the same time back in the human realm, childhood friends Hajime and Mariko, receive a request from Zukan Sokunets, a detective from the Oni Dimension, to search for the Oni that Suzuki has taken. To aid in their mission, they are given the Hyperdotera, which allows them to transform into superheroes, Dotteraman and Dotterapink.
