Hikari no Densetsu
Fifteen year old Hikari Kamijou falls in love with rhythmic gymnastics after watching her idol, Diliana Georgieva, win a contest. Diliana offers to train her in Bulgaria, and Hikari eagerly joins her school's team. Though she starts without much skill, Hikari meets Takaaki Ooishi, a popular student and gymnast, who helps her improve. With his support, Hikari gains confidence and becomes well-known alongside top gymnast Hazuki Shiina.
As they train for the World Cup, a friendly rivalry forms between Hikari and Hazuki. Hikari admires Hazuki's grace and seeks help from her childhood friend, Mao Natsukawa, an aspiring rock band singer who dreams of stardom. Mao creates music for Hikari's routines, and they earn applause from audiences.
Over time, Mao develops deep feelings for Hikari, but she has fallen for Takaaki. This complicates their friendship, especially when Hikari learns Hazuki also likes Takaaki, turning their rivalry into one of both sport and love. Unsure of Takaaki's feelings, Hikari worries she might lose him to Hazuki’s talent, so she works hard to advance her skills and compete at national and international levels.
