Atsuko Kagami is an energetic elementary school girl who has a passion for mirrors. One day, her cherished mirror, a gift from her mother, gets broken. Instead of tossing it in the trash, she chooses to bury it in her yard. In her dreams, she encounters a spirit who is touched by the girl's respectful treatment of the mirror. As a result, Akko-chan receives a magical mirror and learns enchanting spells that grant her the ability to transform into anything she desires.
