In the year 2010 AD, a malevolent energy lifeform, Space Emperor Drias, along with his loyal allies Shura and Zoru, descended upon Earth. United with the nefarious scientist Dr. Django, they unleashed a wave of destruction and chaos across the planet.

Yet, hope was not lost. The valiant energy lifeforms of the Space Guard, who had tirelessly pursued Drias's forces, took control of Earth’s vehicles. Leading this charge was Captain Firebird, who took the form of Yutaro Hino, an android crafted by the visionary Dr. Amano of the Amano Peace Science Institute. Together with Dr. Amano, his grandson Haruka, and his cousin Kenta, the Space Guard was established to defend Earth against Space Emperor Drias.
