Honou no Toukyuuji: Dodge Danpei

Danpei Ichigeki, a young dodgeball player, couldn't wait to join the Dodgeball Club upon entering elementary school. On the morning of the entrance ceremony, he unleashed a full-power shot that struck the grave of his father, Danjuro, a legendary dodgeball player. To his surprise, the gravestone fell over, revealing a ball hidden within. Danpei took this ball as a gift from his father and, alongside his best friend, Chin'nen Kobutsu, a young monk, he stepped into the Dodgeball Club at Tamakawa Elementary School. However, they faced a challenging environment with mean seniors. After a grueling entrance exam, Danpei passed with flying colors, earning the seniors' respect for his talent.

As Danpei participated in matches, he encounters Taiga Nikaido, a rival who would follow him throughout his journey, as well as competitors from other schools, leading to exciting confrontations in various sports.
