Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai Dragon Quest: Dai no Daibouken
Long ago, a great hero triumphed over the Demon King Hadlar and his dark army. The monsters, once shackled by his influence, were liberated, and peace was restored to the world. Years later, a young orphan named Dai washed ashore on Delmurin Island, a sanctuary solely for monsters. As the island's only human, he was raised by the wise elder, Brass, living among his monster friends, including Gome-chan, his companion Golden Metal Slime. One day, he saves a mysterious girl from danger, who is revealed to be none other than Princess Leona, of the Papunika Kingdom.
However, soon after, the tranquility was shattered when the island's monsters, save for Gome-chan, suddenly became violent. Brass, maintaining his composure, sensed the resurrection of the Demon King. Just then, a mysterious figure named Avan appeared, claiming to be Dai's new mentor, accompanied by his apprentice, the skilled magician Pop. They cast a powerful anti-evil spell over the island, freeing the monsters from the Demon King's grasp. Avan, having heard of Dai's potential from Princess Leona, sought him out to help unlock his hidden abilities. Inspired by Avan’s guidance, Dai resolved to harness his newfound powers to confront the Demon King and usher in a new era of peace.
