In France during the early 1900s, a talented redhead named Antoinette “Tony” Dubois embarks on a career as a journalist at La Voix de Paris. Tony is passionate about her cat, Filippon, and her saxophone, which she plays to express her love for jazz and blues. Alongside her colleague, the photographer Alain Pichet, Tony begins to mingle with high society and report on significant events. It is during this time that she becomes aware of Madame Lapin, a wealthy woman leading a vast criminal cartel. Driven by curiosity and a sense of justice, Tony and Alain set out to investigate her activities. Their journey takes them on many adventures across Paris, as well as to Normandy, aboard the Orient-Express, and even to Spain and America.
