Kaze no Naka no Shojo: Kinpatsu no Jeanie
In the 1830s, a tomboyish girl named Jeanie MacDowell lived happily in Lawrenceville, Pennsylvania, with her father, Dr. Freddy, and her mother, Angela, a dedicated nurse. She was fortunate to have many friends, including her childhood companion Stephen, who had a talent for playing the harmonica and piano, and Bill, a young black boy who who played the banjo, and was the child of the McDowells' servants. Tragically, one day, Jeanie's mother Angela fell ill and passed away. Following this loss, Jeanie, inspired by her father's remarriage and her interactions with various people, dreams of becoming a doctor like him, so she could help those in need. She faces the challenges of rigorous education and adversity in New York with determination, touching the hearts of every one she meets with her radiant kindness. As time goes by, Jeanie begins to fall for Stephen, who later became a renowned composer, creating a hit song based on their shared life.
