Mama wa Shougaku Yonensei

In 1992, Natsumi Mizuki is a fourth-grade girl at Yume-ga-oka Elementary School. Her family is planning to move to London, but her parents had to leave first, leaving Natsumi alone for the night. On a stormy evening, while she is nervously watching TV in the living room, a baby suddenly appeared on the screen during an electronic phenomenon. In her shock, she hears a voice that sounded like her mother coming from a compact device that appeared with the baby. The voice revealed that she was Natsumi from 2007, fifteen years later, and the baby was her future daughter, named Mirai. Although it was a strange situation, Natsumi chooses to stay in Japan and raise Mirai until she can safely return to her own time.

Natsumi faces many challenges with Mirai, but with the support of her spirited friend Daisuke Yamaguchi, her close friends Tamae Mori and Eriko Tachibana, future childcare items, and her young Aunt Izumi Shimamura, who may complain about being called "Oba-san," but has a kind heart, she learned how to take care of a baby, despite having no experience.
