Yuri and Ken, a young brother and sister living in Sunnybell, cherished the fairy tale picture book Mariebelle's Picture Book, given to them by their neighbor, Grandma Rose. After they finished reading together on a hill outside of town, they felt a wave of sadness as they noticed that no customers were visiting their parents' new flower shop. They quietly wished, "If only Mariebelle were here..." Just then, a mysterious girl named Mariebelle appeared, along with her fairy partner, Tambourine, emerging from a single flower that blossomed at their feet. She introduces herself as a flower magician from the Flower Magic World and instantly grants their wish with her magic. From that moment, Mariebelle made Sunnybell her home and gradually forms friendships with Yuri, Ken, other children, and the townspeople. She spends her days sharing dreams and hopes through the magic of flowers, all while striving to become a true magician.
