One day, Usagi Tsukino, a clumsy 14-year-old in her second year of middle school, meets a mysterious talking cat named Luna. Luna grants her the ability to transform into a magical alter ego—Sailor Moon. With the mission of fighting the evil forces of the Dark Kingdom, Usagi is soon joined by the enigmatic Tuxedo Mask and the other Sailor Soldiers, who are also just regular girls in their everyday lives. Despite their individual challenges, they always manage to unite and triumph over Queen Beryl and her wicked schemes.
