Because of ongoing urban development, all manner of spirits have been cast out of their homes, leading to all sorts of supernatural chaos. This situation led to the rise of Ghost Sweepers (GS)—private exorcism agencies that compete fiercely, offering their services to whoever pays the most. One of the standout firms is Mikami GS, run by the tough 31-year-old Reiko Mikami, along with her two assistants: Tadao Yokoshima, a 17-year-old apprentice, and Okinu, a ghostly helper.

With plenty of parodies and tropes along the way, Reiko is sure to have her hands full in the ongoing battle against the powerful demon Ashtaroth in this otherworldly supernatural comedy.
