Nintama Rantarou

During the Sengoku period, Rantarou, whose family has been low-ranking ninjas for generations, joins Ninja Academy at his father's suggestion to become an elite ninja. However, he and his friends, Kirimaru and Shinbei, constantly struggle with their grades and they frequently face retakes and remedial classes. Despite this, the three friends keep giving their all, and when they combine their limited knowledge, no one can stop them, even if it often leads to failure.
