Deep Insanity: The Lost Child
In a world grappling with the profound impact of a mysterious illness known as Randolph Syndrome, a significant portion of the population has succumbed to comas amidst the turmoil of World War III. This mysterious illness is traced back to the depths of the South Pole, in a place called Asylum. Driven by hope and determination, daring explorers venture into this uncharted territory, seeking a cure for the disease and uncovering the treasures that await within.
Shigure Daniel Kai is a young recruit who joins these "Sleepers" on their mission to explore Asylum. This land is inhabited by formidable monsters known as Scarred and humans referred to as Exiles. Many of each type are under the strange effects of Randolph Syndrome are collectively called Cultists, posing a direct threat to the operations of the Sleepers.
