Dusk Beyond the End of the World
Towa no Yugure
Akira Himegami, who suddenly awoke from a long cryogenic sleep, found himself in a world 200 years after 2038, the year he originally came from.
In a city devastated by war, Akira discovers that the governmental structures of nations have been dismantled by an organization known as OWEL. Confused by the drastically altered world and the changed values of its people, he is approached by a young girl. She is an android that bears an exact resemblance to Towasa Omagi, to whom Akira had once vowed eternal love. The android, who introduces herself as Yugure, proposes to Akira, leaving him even more bewildered. Nevertheless, he chooses to embark on a journey to Tokyo with Yugure in search of Towasa and answers that lead him to this strange new world.
