Chuuzenji-sensei Mononoke Kougiroku: Sensei ga Nazo wo Hodoite Shimau kara
In Tokyo, three years after the end of the war, scars of the conflict still remained. Kanna Kusakabe, a second-year high school student, hears a rumor from her friends about a ghost haunting the library at night. Wanting to put her friends at ease, Kanna decides to investigate, but to her surprise, she encounters the 'ghost' herself. Upon closer inspection, she finds their new Japanese literature teacher, Mr. Chuzenji, in a hidden part of the library. Although he seems unfriendly with his serious expression and tough attitude, Mr. Chuzenji is passionate about literature and has created this sanctuary to protect written works from government censorship. As a result of keeping this place a secret, rumors spread that Kanna has exorcised the ghost. From that point on, Kanna often seeks Mr. Chuzenji's advice and even begins to interact with his unusual friends.
