Akujiki Reijou to Kyouketsu Koushaku
In a world struggling with severe famine and infested with monsters, Melfiera, the count's daughter, is exploring an unconventional solution. Following in her late mother’s footsteps, who studied the same topic to address the famine, Melfiera suggests using monsters as a food source. However, this idea is considered taboo because of the worship of spirits, leading to her being rejected by the nobility.
One day, her father's stepwife, with whom she has a difficult relationship, warned her that she would be sent to a convent if she didn’t find a fiancé within a year. Forced to attend a social event, Melfiera was unexpectedly attacked by a monster. Thankfully, Aristide, known as the Blood-Crazed Duke and head of the Duke of Galbraith family, came to her rescue. Intrigued by Melfiera's fearless attitude towards monsters and nature of her research, he surprisingly proposed to her on the spot.
