For centuries, the Kingdom of Ilglen in the West and the fierce barbarians of the East have been locked in battle. Then came Serafina de Lavillant, the illustrious "Princess Knight," who bravely led the eastern expeditionary force as the kingdom's finest knight. Though she faced defeat and was captured by the barbarians, her story took an unexpected turn. Instead of enduring a grim fate as a prisoner, Serafina was met with a surprising proposal from Veor, the charismatic chieftain of the barbarians. As she began her new life in the East, Serafina was taken aback to discover that the chieftain was not only handsome and refined but also determined to win her heart, even as she intends to resist.
