In a world where beastfolk and humans live together, Yaniko is a catgirl who resides in a small apartment, often found lazily smoking cigarettes. With no money or life skills, she is seen as a good-for-nothing who has discarded all dignity like a used cigarette butt. Even her younger sister, Imoko, is unable to get Yaniko to drop her bad habits. Nevertheless, Yaniko appears to find contentment in her life. Together with her friends and her human landlord, her daily antics lead her into all sorts of strange situations.
