Elsa Jukarainen is an optimistic noblewoman from a once-prominent but now struggling aristocratic family. One day, she unexpectedly meets Julius Roas, an awkward yet elite next-in-line duke, who suggests a contract marriage on their very first encounter. After their wedding, however, Julius's personality suddenly changes, and he confesses that he doesn't truly love her and only married her for convenience. As Elsa begins her new married life, she works hard to understand him better, because despite his words, his actions tell a different story. As they spend time together, showing each other kindness and gradually opening their hearts, they may eventually become a true couple and a real family.
