At a specialized school that takes in young orphans and trains them to become magical weapons for war, 14-year-old Sheena suddenly lost her roommate one morning. For the children living there, death is a familiar reality, one they can’t afford to grieve. While she tried to be brave and push aside her sadness, a girl covered in blood approached her, surprisingly cheerful. The next day, this girl, named Mimi, joined Sheena's class as a new student. After meeting Mimi, who is rumored to be the school’s secret weapon, Sheena’s heart starts to change as they become closer, despite their very different views on their circumstances at the school.
