The Laid-Off Cheat-Granting Mage Enjoys a Second Lease on Life
Chii Fuyo

Rein has worked diligently for his guild, the Beast Fangs, as an enchantment magician who can imbue weapons and armor to perform well beyond their original physical limitations. Due to the whims of his guild master, Rein is suddenly kicked out for being deemed useless, left to fend for himself. In revenge, Rein decides to remove all the enhancement points he has given out over the years, amassing a colossal total of over tens of thousands of points. With only his lackluster equipment immediately available, he applies the maximum bonus to his copper sword (+10,000) and the remainder to his threadbare clothes. Despite his appearance as an impoverished adventurer, he encounters Nina, the receptionist for the dilapidated guild Blue Crystal. Although he is a newbie, his first mission is to slay a dragon alongside Lily, a famed S-rank adventurer, whose reputation is somewhat different from reality.
