Liar Game
Nao Kanzaki, a college student who tends to be easily fooled, receives a mysterious package one day. Without fully reading the note, she opens it and discovers a bundle of cash totaling 100 million yen. Inside, there's a message stating that she is now part of the Liar Game tournament, where players must lie, cheat, and deceive to steal each other's money, with losers left to cover their own debts.
Her first opponent is someone she knows well—her former junior high teacher. Unfortunately, she falls for the deception and loses all the money. Determined to get it back, Nao seeks help from Shinichi Akiyama, a brilliant con artist recently released from prison. With his assistance, they manage to recover her money, but Nao generously decides to return it and pay off her teacher's debt. Just when she thinks everything is settled, Nao receives an invitation to the second round of the tournament.
