Elizabeth Leiston is the daughter of the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Haldoria and the fiancée of the crown prince. During a celebration for the nation's founding, he unexpectedly ends their engagement to pursue another noblewoman, leaving Elizabeth imprisoned in a cell. Feeling betrayed by the homeland she devoted herself to, Elizabeth resolves to escape, taking with her the powerful divine artifact known as the Seven Grimoires. With the assistance of Viscount Lucas from a neighboring country, she begins a new life while harboring a fierce desire for revenge against her homeland.
