Specialized assassins have refined their deadly skills for centuries. Among them is the Poison Clan, one of the five great families, known for its immense power and authority. Hikaru Gero is a young man destined to inherit this legacy. Having lived a life in the underworld without any ties to women, marriage feels distant to him. However, to ensure the Poison Clan's bloodline continues, the family head informs him that his sister will be forced to bear an heir instead.

At that moment, Gero encounters Mei Kinosaki, a con artist and cross-dressing marriage swindler who becomes his next target. To address the succession issue and protect his sister, Gero decides to marry and immediately seeks Kinosaki's assistance. With the master con artist as his advisor, the top assassin Hikaru Gero embarks on his first challenging mission: marriage hunting!
