Itsuki Tomonari is a high school student from a poor family who works hard at part-time jobs every day. Suddenly, he finds himself abandoned by his parents overnight, leaving him feeling hopeless. Just when it seems like things can't get any worse, he gets involved in the kidnapping of Hinako Konohana, the daughter of one of Japan's leading financial corporations. During their encounter, Hinako takes a liking to him, and he soon finds himself living and working at the Konohana estate while also attending Kiko Academy as her caretaker. Although Hinako appears to be talented and beautiful on the surface, she is actually quite lazy and lacks basic life skills.
