Vertex Force

Two weeks after a global phenomenon called "Power Down," during which computers and networks worldwide suddenly stopped functioning, summer was about to begin. Akira Todo, a junior high school student, was leading what appeared to be an ordinary life in Okinawa alongside his older sister Haruka and their mother, who runs their family café. However, this family harbored a secret: Haruka had inherited a power from their father called the "Engine," a gift linked to his extraterrestrial origins. Understandably, they had chosen to keep this power a secret. To Akira's annoyance, he has not shown any signs of inheriting their father's abilities.

Suddenly, Haruka's forehead began to glow red, the same phenomenon that had appeared on their father when hostile EDVA aliens once approached Earth. Forced to use their Engine power, the siblings had no choice but to summon the giant robot under their command to confront the invading forces.
