One day, several planets in the solar system were transformed into machines by the mysterious alien technology of the Mechanization Empire. As sixth-grader Kenichi Minesaki prepares for a new school year at Harukaze Elementary School, he and his friends Hiromi and Shinobu are suddenly attacked by mechanical invaders. Fortunately, they are rescued by a dinosaur robot that sends them 64 million years into the past. There, they meet the warrior of light, Eldran, who gives them three dinosaur robots to help protect their world. After being teleported back to school, Kenichi and his classmates are recruited as Zaurers, tasked with defending Earth as they start their final year of elementary school.
